Summer Shows: Four

I've decided to give many shows this summer a chance that perhaps I would otherwise neglect, ignore, ridicule or just pass right by.... today let's tackle the feminine side of ABC's "The Bachelor"... yes, the cleverly named "The Bachelorette"....

Look, right up front I want to say that Reality Television is not my cup of tea... (the one notable exception being CBS' excellent "Survivor").... I never, ever watch "American Idol" or "Dancing with the Stars" (despite the fact that Julianne Hough is one of the five best looking women on the Planet Earth...)

But TVGal and I do guiltily watch "The Bachelor", mainly so that we have dinner with our friends T&H and mock gleefully the proceedings a few times a year... but the "Bachelorette" version always bores me to tears.... watching 25 absolute idiots guys fawn over someone I wouldn't give the time of day to isn't my idea of fun...

This edition of the program isn't any different... I just hope it ends soon and we can get back to the guilty fun of "The Bachelor".... sweet merciful Jesus I can't believe I just typed that sentence... ick.
