(This week is generally the lowest of the year, and those numbers certainly reflect that... except in the world of Basic Cable.. in fact TNT's "The Closer" had a 7.2 for the week, which made it the highest rated show on television...)

I've always wanted to know how to take those "blurry water" photos you see all over the place whether on the 'net or at the mall at a speciality store... you know, like this one... (I did not take this photo...)

I need to hike to an actual waterfall and give it a go... but now that I have a tripod I can at least attempt some Slow Shutter Speed Photography... my blurry water attempts are at the end... join me won't you? As always, clicking on photos at TVGuy make them grow as if by magic...
(Any professional photographers reading at this point are invited to come back tomorrow...)
This one was of the skyline right after the July 3rd fireworks ended... it was after 10 pm... the smoke from the fireworks display is hanging over the city...
then.. a storm broke out.. so I attempted to catch some lightning bolts on "film"... and a few found their way onto my camera's memory card...

I saw a plane going over the TVGuy Mansion... this was the result... kinda cool I thought...

There is a lantern outside our condo with low light nestled in some branches of a tree.. I liked the way the "greens" popped out on this shot...
And now, the "Blurry Water Project".. it was a 2 day affair... here were my attempts on Day 1...

Day 2 yielded much better results (I thought...)

So I'm getting there... an actual waterfall is next...
and now, off to work and Day 2 of our Management Seminar at the Cherry Creek Marriott Hotel.. then an evening with the boys as we view in agony the VH1 World Series of Pop Culture and think about what might have been... sigh...
Have a fine Wednesday, won't you?
